Today, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of IndAI: a new community dedicated to nurturing and empowering India’s GenAI founders.
Why IndAI?
We believe that community is essential for any founder’s success. In this fast-paced and ever-evolving world of Generative AI, having a network of peers and mentors can make all the difference. While India is poised to play a significant role in this revolution, as we spoke with founders and innovators across the country, we identified a few crucial gaps in the current ecosystem:
- There’s no dedicated community for Indian GenAI founders to connect, learn, and grow together.
- Access to expert mentorship and guidance in this rapidly evolving field is limited.
- Practical resources and playbooks (product innovation, pricing innovation, GTM innovations) for building GenAI startups are scarce and still being figured out globally
What is IndAI?
IndAI (pronounced as Ind-AI) is India’s largest community dedicated to championing an AI-first startup ecosystem.
IndAI is our answer to these challenges. IndAI is a curated community of GenAI founders and experts across product, pricing, and GTM.
It’s a thoughtfully crafted initiative designed to provide the support, knowledge, and connections that Indian GenAI founders need to thrive in a safe and receptive environment. It is aimed to be an ever-evolving community that serves the most important needs of the members as the landscape itself changes rapidly.
It’s an inclusive space where:
- Innovations and products can be showcased and refined based on expert feedback
- Founders can share their journeys, challenges, and triumphs
- Experts can offer guidance and insights
- Peers can learn from each other’s experiences
Our goal is to create a nurturing ecosystem that helps turn groundbreaking AI ideas into world-class products and companies.
Who is IndAI for?
We’re focusing on founders building pure-play GenAI startups, particularly those in the early stages (below $1M ARR from the GenAI product line). Whether you’re a college dropout building your first startup, a seasoned entrepreneur venturing into AI or an ML researcher turned founder, IndAI is for you.
Introducing IndAI Demos
To get the ball rolling, we’re excited to announce our first IndAI Demos on August 8th!
IndAI Demos are going to be monthly events happening on the second Thursday of every month where we have some of the best early-stage GenAI founders present their products to a panel of experts to get actionable feedback.
They’re designed as peer-to-peer product reviews where founders can present their ideas and demos in a supportive environment. It’s a chance to get valuable feedback, learn from others’ experiences, and connect with like-minded innovators.
The Demos are designed to be engaging, educational, and, most importantly, fun.
While this is a start, the format is going to evolve as the needs change with the introduction of other events too.

- 3-5 product demos from exciting GenAI startups (15 min each)
- Feedback and insights from product and growth experts
- Networking opportunities with peers and mentors
- Engaging conversations around the recent AI trends, challenges, and success stories
- A supportive, constructive atmosphere for sharing and learning
