I’m sure you have come across the quote – “Travel is the best teacher.”
I’m sure you have also heard the story of the Big Panda and the Tiny Dragon, who embarked on a journey, exchanging their thoughts.
?: Which is more important, the journey or the destination?
?: The company.
Travel and good company have a magical chemistry. When united, they often unfold a journey that’s worth your time and effort, even in business.
In the last 3 weeks, I have visited 6 cities and 1 country, representing a community-driven organisation that has vowed to take India SaaS to the rest of the world.
Chennai >> Bangalore >> Hyderabad >> Surat >> Ahmedabad >> Mumbai >> Dubai
Sounds tiring, right? That’s exactly how I assumed it to be when I saw my calendar, at a glance.
However, in these 3 weeks, I came to realize that every destination (or city) comes with its own vibe and a community that’s so different in company. But they all unite selflessly when the call of duty arrives.
? Chennai’s mellow and synchronous energy, like its scenic east coast.
? Bangalore’s rejuvenated atmosphere, like its gardens and cafés.
? Hyderabad’s grounded nature, like its solid foundations in public and tech infrastructure.
? Surat’s self-made standard, like its cloth that shines with a different calibre.
? Ahmedabad’s intimate and deep thinking, like its cotton and diamond cuts that have surging value.
? Mumbai’s ever-hustling spirit, like its alias of being the city that never sleeps.
? Dubai’s show-stopping aura, like its magnificent architecture and exhilarating luxury.
In all of the above, I got to see a community that’s so diverse yet ready to converge and share a camaraderie and oneness like no other.
On that note, may we all travel far and wide. In good spirits, in search of greater things to accomplish, in unlocking new learnings and potential, in propelling ?? SaaS across seas, but most of all, in good company.
And may the very good company unite all of us at the SaaSBoomi Annual ’24 – our biggest, most ambitious, and definitive annual SaaS conference yet.
Godspeed!
Regards,
Avinash Raghava
