I had a completely different introduction in mind for this edition of LOL, but life, as always, had other plans.
Today, I want to take a moment to honor a dear friend and true comrade of our ecosystem, Rohan Mahotra, who passed away last week. His loss weighs heavily on all of us. My heart goes out to his family, and I hope they find strength from every source possible to heal and move forward.
Rohan’s passing is a stark reminder that life, at its core, is a collection of fleeting moments. What truly matters is how we embrace the present—neither the past nor the future can be held too tightly.
But when it comes to SaaSBoomi, our vision must stretch beyond the present, beyond fleeting moments. We need to think about how we stay relevant tomorrow.
This question often keeps me up at night.
Over the past decade, India has proven its strength in inbound sales. But what about the next ten years?
As SaaSBoomi grows, we face an undeniable need to justify this growth. We must identify the next big opportunity—together.
One of the best ways forward, I believe, is to view SaaSBoomi as a product, with our events and initiatives acting as features—features designed to meet the evolving needs of our community. Sometimes, we’ll need to be bold enough to let go of features that no longer serve the tribe.
Together, we can draw from the lessons of our past to fix the present and build a future we’ll be proud of.
We’ve done it before, and we’ll do it again. We’ll hold the fort, as we always do!
