Lottie is a Public International Law graduate with experience working with non-profit organisations. She is a proponent for the championing of national and local grassroots campaigns in addressing international human rights issues.

Raju is a constitutional and human rights lawyer based in Nepal. He worked with Amnesty International as a researcher, specialising in transitional justice and ESCR. He has also advised OHCHR-Nepal on the rule of law and transitional justice. He is the founding chairperson of the Justice and Rights Institute.

Gabriela is a UK and Australian-qualified lawyer with expertise in corporate finance and human rights. She has worked in Sydney, London, Damascus, Jerusalem, and Tokyo. She is currently the CEO of the Australian Pro Bono Centre.

Siddharth is a graduate of Government Law College Mumbai. He has an academic and professional background that seamlessly blends social sciences and law. His interests span Constitutional and Criminal Law, Urbanization, and Migration.

Rahul is an Advocate with a Master’s degree in Human Rights. He is dedicated to representing children in need of care and protection at iProbono. With a passion for Constitutional and Criminal laws, he works to ensure that children have access to legal rights.

Mariam leads iProbono’s programs and governance globally. A human rights lawyer with a focus on South Asia and the UK, she is also Trustee at the Royal Drawing School in London, and Reunite, the International Centre for Child Abduction.

Ellen is a retired solicitor and iProbono’s Board of Directors Chair in the UK. In the past, she has been a Trustee of various charities, and the Chair of The Bell Education Trust.

Qualified as a Lawyer and Company Secretary, Sumit has extensive experience in carrying out legal and secretarial due diligence, in both Indian and overseas companies.

Barun is a human rights lawyer based in Nepal. He specialises in human rights violations and public interest litigation cases before the Nepal Supreme Court, working alongside LAPSOJ.

A human rights lawyer who studied law at Cambridge University, Deeksha has experience in civil and criminal litigation as well as refugee law. She leads iProbono’s programs in India and oversees case management.

Salim, is an advocate with a law practice in general, civil, commercial, and infrastructure litigations. He has represented cases involving the fundamental and statutory rights before the Supreme Court.

Shireen has worked in law and development across the UK, India and the US. She has been recognised by HM The Queen, the UK Prime Minister and the Asian Women of Achievement, with the Financial Times naming her ‘Legal Innovator of the Year’ in 2015.

Jubdatul is a human rights activist, addressing legal barriers and ensuring the human rights of gender and sexuality-diverse communities.

Roger runs his own legal consultancy, having previously been General Counsel for CBS Viacom International, Simon Cowell’s production company Syco and PRS for Music.

Taran is an award-winning journalist and writer. She is the author of Shadow City: A Woman Walks Kabul, and has worked extensively with Afghan refugees and asylum seekers.

Antje is a barrister at Garden Court North Chambers, admitted to the bar in England, Wales, and Berlin. She advocates for child rights, focusing on vulnerable children and social justice in South Asia. Previously, she served as a Senior Legal Adviser for the United Nations.

Allan is the Executive Director of KELIN and advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He brings over 15 years of experience in law, ethics, governance, policy, health, and rights.

Shevindri is an Attorney-at-Law with experience in criminal litigation who holds a master’s in Justice and Criminology. Her areas of interest include gender-based violence and fundamental rights.

Nimisha represents children in need of care and protection in iProbono India’s child protection litigation. She also leads our advocacy efforts in this area. She has an extensive litigation experience in Delhi courts.

As the Office Assistant, Suvrat supports the programs team with general office duties, including photocopying, scanning, and printing the case documents. In addition to his housekeeping tasks, he maintains attendance records and the communications inventory.

Nicola is a lawyer with 30 years of experience in regulatory compliance, governance, and legal advice within the financial services industry. She most recently served as General Counsel for Evelyn Partners Group and volunteers for European Lawyers in Lesvos, a refugee charity.

Binita has over 13 years experience of working in the legal and charity sector. She oversees operations and relations with key stakeholders.

Richa is a professional photographer and communications specialist with extensive experience in charity and non-profit work. She assists the Communications Lead in planning strategies and is responsible for building iProbono’s visual library.

Satish handles the administrative duties at iProbono’s Delhi office. As part of his role, he takes care of vendor management, invoicing and office logistics. He also supports our Operations Director with the financial aspects of our work.

Douglas is a Chartered Accountant with 37 years experience and an iProbono Trustee since its inception. He is the Operations Director and member of the Board at Fieldfisher LLP, a European law firm which supports iProbono.

Tarek is an advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and oversees iProbono’s litigation portfolio in the country. He specialises in human rights, counterterrorism, and dispute resolution.

Yamina is a lawyer with experience in civil and criminal litigation. She leads iProbono India’s juvenile justice work, and rights of under-trial prisoners and housing rights.

Supriya provides strategic direction to iProbono’s knowledge, impact, and learning initiatives. Prior to this, she worked at the India-UK Development Partnership Forum, Crisis Action, and Oxfam India. Supriya holds an MPhil in Geographical Research with distinction from the University of Cambridge.

Barsha is dedicated to advancing social justice through strategic advocacy in Nepal. She is passionate about defending human rights and using pro bono initiatives to create systemic change and improve access to justice for marginalised communities.

Sanam is a Management Consultant with experience in donor-funded projects, specialising in global health. She supports programme management and monitoring and evaluation at iProbono.

With five years of litigation experience, Amla is a lawyer driven by her commitment to human rights and social justice. She manages iProbono’s child protection casework in Mumbai.

Arunima provides therapy to a diverse clientele using evidence-based interventions. As part of the Comprehensive Care Team, she provides therapeutic assistance and psychosocial support to the communities in need.

Ashvina is an attorney with specialised interest in international humanitarian law, human rights, and criminal law. She supports the Sri Lanka team in programme planning and implementation.

With a career spanning 20 years in child protection, Vaidehi Subramani has chaired two Child Welfare Committees in Delhi, and served on a Juvenile Justice Board. She was Honorary Director at Akshay Pratishthan, and an Academic counselor at IGNOU.

Baroness Elizabeth has helped shape the United Kingdom’s legal and social justice landscape over her career of 60 years. She was the first woman President of the Family Division of the High Court of Justice in 1991.

Swathi, a seasoned IP lawyer and co-founder of iProbono India, is a Senior Advocate practicing at the Supreme Court of India and Delhi High Court. She received her Masters degree from Columbia Law School as a Harlan Fiske Scholarship.

Ankita Talukdar is an LLM graduate in International Children’s Rights,with a background in advocacy and research, she strives to promote child-friendly justice systems globally.

Nilopar is Head of Investment Law at the National Employment Savings Trust Corporation. She has volunteered at BRAC in Dhaka and New York, which influenced her interest in social justice. She is a published author working on her second novel.

Aswini is a barrister at Doughty Street Chambers in London and the current chair of its Management Board. She advocates for children, adults with mental disabilities, and abuse victims. She is a former vice-chair of the Bar Human Rights Committee.

Aritha is a leading advocate who has spearheaded several global initiatives promoting equality and human rights throughout his career. He ranked #1 in the Financial Times Outstanding list of Top 30 LGBT Future Leaders in 2015.
